Practical task 1: Describe main elements of your blogger (which you have registered in the
Google Sheets area): website address, the registration code for Google Analytics, screenshots Of
total number of visits during entire period Of since its registrations, describe the layout Of the

Practical task 2: Show in the Admin area your three accounts: one for your blogger, the second
shared with your co-author, third- Google DEMO account for tracking Google merchandise store
website. Change settings in Admin area: User settings : default info 30 days, your chosen

Create your own channel for attracting visitors by email,.

Shorten the link bitly , goo.gl or another tool;
Write email ( inviting title "call to action" style, the addressees should be invisible (use bcc), the
link hidden text ( inserting hyperlink)
Show the user traffic flow in all channels, including the email. The invitation emails are created by
both co-authors. In the URL builder the campaign title is the same for both co-authors, the source
your names or initials, the media is the same "email"
Make the report to show the results : Acquisition > Traffic acquisition report (Session
source/medium, Session medium, Session source, Session campaign) 

Practical task 6:
Exploration menu for defining the user segment. Explain how you demonstrate representation of
the concepts "dimensions, metrics, segments". delete the unnecessary ones from the standard
window. See the number Of users in the specified segment during selected time period.

Practical task 7:
Exploration menu for visualization of data. See the visualizations types in the Explorations menu .
Create 4 different types of visualizations: funnel, path and cohort types are required and choose
one more from the gallery. Choose the dimensions and metrics for the visualizations. Put all
visualizations for interactive use by adding them with a "+" sign.

Practical task 8:
Reports: creating , saving , finding for reusing. The task modes:
1: Edit the existing report. Choose one of the standard reports on any of the menu items, click on
the editing icon (pencil), use Customize report function and "save as" by assigning the report
name. Do not select the specific dates for the edited report.
2. Create a New report. Find this function in the left/bottom menu - in the Reports area , Library.
Create a report which contains at least 3 elements . Save report
3. You can find the edited and created reports in the Library section for reusing tem.

Practical task 9: Insights in the Demo account: explore insights information in Google
merchandise demo account, put the screenshots with answers to 2 questions.

Practical task 10:
Use the insights menu: it is the Google machine learning — based function. You can make new
insights for the website which you own or administer. You can find Insights card in the main menu
areas: Home, Reports, Advertising. For creating a new insight: On the Insights card, click View all
insights. Click Create, make it "from scratch" : create the alert about the change of number of
visitors (indicate percent value), save it. Ensure, that the alert comes to your email address at
least 3 times. Put the screenshot of the insights list and the alerts into your report.
